Workshop led by Monique Newton

Tension and conflict in the workplace are common and normal, yet even small conflicts can leave us feeling flustered and strained. We can learn to be less reactive and more peaceful at work, and our yoga practice can help get us there!

In this workshop participants will explore how the tools and practices of yoga-breathe, meditation, self reflection, deep listening, mind-body awareness, asana-can help us be more effective and lighthearted when conflict does arise. We will also explore some conflict transformation tools and practices.

We will have an asana practice (of course!) plus meditation, discussion, and interactive exercises.

Monique is trained in third-party neutral mediation and facilitation practices with the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution and in mediation with Community Mediation Ottawa where she volunteers her time. She is an E-RYT200 yoga instructor and YACEP provider registered with the Yoga Alliance.
