Community Yoga (Donation)

Class schedule
A classic approach to yoga that emphasizes physical detail and focus. An accessible way to learn the basic postures and breathing techniques of yoga while restoring your energy, strength and flexibility. A great class for beginner and intermediate students. Please note we have 2 Community Yoga By Donation classes.  On Sunday we collect donations in the form of non-perishable food or cash for the Ottawa Food Bank.

Hatha Yoga (Beginner)

Hatha (Warm)

Class schedule
A classic approach to yoga that emphasizes physical detail and focus. An accessible way to learn the basic postures and breathing techniques of yoga while restoring your energy, strength and flexibility. The warm class is a perfect introduction to the Hot Room, similar postures will be explored all done in a moderately heated class.  This class is a great way to get used to the heat before exploring a hot practice, or for those who don’t want to practice in the high heat.  A great class for beginner and intermediate students.

Hatha 50+

An accessible way to learn the basic postures and breathing techniques of yoga while restoring your energy, strength and flexibility. A great class for beginner and intermediate students.Please note we have 2 Community Yoga By Donation classes.  On Fridays the donations are for the Causeway Work Centre.  On Sundays, you can donate non-perishable food items or money, which will go to the Centretown or the Chinatown Food Banks.

Yin/Yang Yoga

Class schedule
Find balance in movement and stillness. Use flowing preparatory movements to get the nervous system, connective tissue and muscles ready for the longer held yin poses. This is a safe and relaxed practice good for beginner and experienced yogis alike.

Warm Flow

Warm Flow focuses on using breath to connect each yoga posture to the body and mind. Using an energetic vinyasa flow as a foundation, combined with specifically sequenced set of flowing yoga postures, this class has the ability to build strength, increase endurance, release tension, and create more flexibility in the entire body.The warm class is a perfect introduction to the Hot Room, similar postures will be explored, all done in a moderately heated class.  This class is a great way to get used to the heat before exploring a hot practice, or for those who don’t want to practice in the high heat.  A great class for beginner and intermediate students.
