Journey of the Yogini 3 Workshop Series ~ Empower, Heal, and Transform with Megan Campbell
The purpose of these workshops is to create community, support renewal, and celebrate the Yogini in every woman.
Each workshop focuses on different areas of the body, how it affects us in terms of our chakras (energy), its effects on the body and spirit, and our relationship to that area as women. These workshops are designed to suit beginner or intermediate Yogini’s interested in personal growth and learning more about Yoga and wellness, as well those who are interested in deepening their practice
Empower ~ Sunday, April 22nd ~ 11-2pm
Explores power, focusing on the first three chakras that are directly related to our perceptions and association with power. The focus is on the legs, hips and core.
Heal ~ Sunday, May 6th ~ 11-2pm
Focuses on the fourth and fifth chakras, so the heart and throat, which tend to be areas of great issue for women in particular.
Transform ~ Sunday, May 20th ~ 11-2pm
Discover your sixth and seventh chakras through Yin yoga and meditation, and discussion on practical ways to incorporate Yoga in to our everyday life. Kylie Delfino, owner of The Nourished Self, will be talking nutrition The Ayurvedic Synergy of Natural Living Foods ~ called: Foods and spices that ground the soul and nourish the body. http://www.thenourishedself.ca/
Although it is recommended to take all 3 workshops for the full benefits and experience, they can be attended separately.
Before April 22: $120+hst for all 3 workshops or $45+hst for a single workshop
After April 22: $135+hst for all 3 workshops or $50+hst for a single workshop
10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Hopewell Eating Disorder Support Centre.
Megan Campbell has been teaching and practicing Yoga for over six years. She currently resides and teaches in Ottawa, Ont. and focuses most of her energy on her soul-based business, Journey of the Yogini. The workshops are intended to build a community of strong, like-minded women. She continues to study with local and international teachers, and recently completed an Off the Mat, Into the World Leadership training with the intention of learning how to further ignite social activism in Ontario to help support national/international women’s campigns.
