Louise Sattler

Growing up on the back of a horse, Louise was fortunate to practice her passion every day, competing in Show Jumping up to the international level. Although her passion for riding never subsided, a new one arose over ten years ago. Longing for a more harmonious way of being in the world, Louise was drawn to Yoga.  After three years of practice, Louise went to the world renowned Kripalu Yoga Center in Massachusetts, USA to do her first intensive yoga teacher training. After over 30 years of combined experience both in the saddle and on the yoga mat, Louise enjoys making her living by coaching Horseback Riding and teaching Yoga. In University Louise studied Microbiology, Mathematics and Psychology. On her own, she enjoys studying Quantum Science, Spirituality, Yoga and theories on Consciousness as a way of developing a greater understanding of the mind-body-soul connection. Louise brings that understanding to her own life practice and teachings.  In addition to the dynamic classes she hosts at Rama Lotus, Louise also teaches therapeutic styles of yoga in the homes of families with children that have cancer and to the women of Harmony House shelter for battered women. Throughout the year, Louise conducts workshops that deliver the benefits of yoga to the equestrian community as well as workshops that introduce her yoga students to horses. Louise's yoga classes are empowering and motivating and she hopes to see you at one of them soon!
